The first annual fundraiser held in November of 2015 was a huge success! In memory of Joe Mancillas, who waited 4 years on the transplant waiting list, businesses from the Cloudcroft and Alamogordo areas were generous sponsors or donated items for the silent and live auctions. The community, friends and family from afar came and showed their support and participated in the silent and live auctions. There were beautifully decorated full sized trees and wreaths, as well as gift items available for auction. Carl and Debbie Wood of Carl Wood auctioneers did a great job with the live auction. Carl is quite entertaining! Fun was had by all and many said they are looking forward to the next Joe Mancillas Trees of Hope Festival. Our faithful volunteers worked hard to make this event so special. Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 6pm for the 2nd annual event.
